Being set in the heart of the historical centre of Genoa,
the Mascherona Bed & Brekfast enjoys a strategic situation because
of its closeness to all major urban cultural sites.
The house is 20 metres far from the Facoltà di Architettura, 50
metres from Teatro della Tosse, 70 metres from Museo di S.Agostino. In
a few minutes it is easy to reach by foot Palazzo Ducale, San Lorenzo,
the city’s cathedral, the Casa di Colombo (Columbus’ house),
and Genoa’a oldest church, Santa Maria di Castello.
Walking down to the harbour, it is possible to get quickly to the Porto
Antico area, to Palazzo S.Giorgio and to the well-known Aquarium of Genoa.
Just moving out of the historical centre, several theatres are easy to
reach, such as the opera theatre Carlo Felice, set in Piazza De Ferrari,
and the Teatro della Corte, in the neighborhood of Brignole Railway Station.
Moreover, the B&B is only 15 minutes far from the main exhibition
centre Fiera di Genova, which is the famous location of national and international
events, such as Salone Nautico and Euroflora.
